Here's a new interview of Pong from Oops Magazine in a question and answer format. It's a really cute interview and it provides lots of interesting facts about Pong. Luckily, we didn't have to translate it because someone at Pong's Chinese forum at baidu.com posted the English translation there. Here's the full interview as posted at baidu.com. Some of the wording is a little off, but we all get the jist of what's being said. Plus, we all know how some things tend to get lost in translations. P'Pong : Pong ChernYim. I would join P'Note, uncle Gluay, P'tao,uncle Jod, and P'Ray. I remembered they were very humorous that time. It could be cool if I could join them.

P'Pong : I will go to meet the people I love the best that I can.

P'Pong : I'd like to be Sun Wu Kong (孙悟空) because he had saved the world successfully so many times.

P'Pong : Smiling and the way of talking. Someone that has a regular face, but when she talks, she is even more beautiful. On the other hand, someone is very beautiful but she loses her charms while talking.

What do you want to tell women?
P'Pong : Stop wearing creepers shoes. They aren't beautiful at all. (***LOL, we didn't know what creeper shoes were, but this image here was posted by another fan at Pong's Chinese forum. We agree, these shoes are not very flattering)

P'Pong : I don't like talkative (in the bad way) and boastful people. (***talkative people, think the translator is referring to people who gossip)

P'Pong : Anywhere that has snow. I think it must be very romantic.

P'Pong : I sometimes snore, but not very often.

Pidsawat to Begin Shooting in June

Some have asked when Pong, Bee, and Pim would begin shooting their lakorn Pidsawat. Originally, we heard that they would begin shooting in January, but it still hasn't happened, yet. Well, in this video clip of Bee answering some of her fans' questions, she stated that they would probably begin shooting in June. Right now they are waiting for the director, who's currently busy with another lakorn.

Update: Pong in China

Pong is now in Shanghai and WOW, so many fans arrived at the airport to welcome him. It looks like he had an even bigger turnout in Shanghai then he did in Beijing a few days ago. Pong will have an interview soon and we'll post it here when it becomes available.

Pong is currently in China right now. He arrived in Beijing on the 19th and will be in Shanghai on the 22nd. The purpose of this trip is for a magazine shoot for Honeymoon Travel Magazine (we think). Of course his Chinese fans are happy to see him and Pong even brought toy dolls to give as gifts to some fans. (Thanks Mandy for sharing the details to this trip).

Aom & Jeab Sell T-Shirts for Charity

Aom and Jeab invite their friends in the entertainment industry to help sell T-shirts that read "HELP IS ON THE WAY". The proceeds will go to help flood victims in southern Thailand. When Aom was stuck on Koh Tao because of the storm, she saw many who needed help and thought of the idea for her show JeabAom to help raise money for flood victims. Jeab and Aom do realize that they can't help every single victim so they must choose who have suffered the most to help. The money will be given to victims to rebuild homes and start a new life.

Some of Pong's Chinese fans attended the taping of the show. The host asked a fan why she liked Pong and the fan responded, "Pong shows are good and he is a good man." The host says jokingly, "Pong's shows are good, but he's a bad man." But the fan insists that Pong is a good man.

Pong talks about a secret crush he has for a girl that lived close to his house. He would always try to get her attention and show off to her by watering the plants in his front yard or playing soccer. (LOL, Pong!)

The hosts then goes on to say that when Pong, Gun, and Grate have sweethearts, whether they should be jealous of them or not. But for Pong, they wonder if they should be jealous or thrifty (the host joked about this b/c in Thai, the words for "jealousy" and "thrifty" have similar pronunciations). Pong denies this habit and the host says that to find out the truth, they should hear from those that are close to Pong. Aom appears in a video interview. She says that she doesn't know if Pong is thrifty or not, but she knows that Pong has a lot of girls, especially foreign girls. (Haha....Aom enjoys picking on Pong). Sometimes, he consults with her. When she got married, he told her that he wanted the same life as her, but does not know how to live his life with someone else.

Then Puri appears on the video. Puri says that Pong is charming. He says that Pong has talked about wanting to get married and having a baby, but Puri doesn't think it will happen anytime soon. Oh Anuchyd says that Pong is indeed a man with charms, funny and has flirting eyes...everything you need in a charming guy. (LOL, Oh!)

Here's a summary of Pong's recent interview for Oops Magazine. Pong says that he is very glad that Kha Khong Khon has such great feedback. The reporter asked about Pong's secrets to looking good. Pong says that he is simple. His style is very casual and he likes to wear short pants, but P' Boy told him that his fans will have certain expectations for him so he should not let them down and that he needed to take care of himself. Pong does so by staying fit through exercise, running, and playing soccer on a regular basis. So what's the secret to Pong's charms? Pong says it might be his height and brown eyes that he gets from his father. What about his sweetheart, is she tall or short? Pong says with a smile that he doesn't have one. What would be an appropriate time to get married? Pong thought at first that the appropriate time to be married is by age 30, but now he's 32 and is not married yet, so now his deadline at 40.

Happy Thai New Year

As some of you may know, it is Songkran, the Thai traditional New Year, which starts April 13th to the 15th. Songkran is the Thai word that means "move" or "change place" as it is the day when the sun changes it's position in the zodiac. It is also known as "the Water Festival" as people believe that it will wash away bad luck. As a part of the festivities, people go around and dump water on other people or spray them with their water guns.

Another tradition of carrying sand into the temple is believed to result in happiness and prosperity because when we compare what we have to a grain of sand, we can see that we are indeed prosperous. The purpose of carrying the sand into the temple is that because sand is used as a part of the construction and restoration of a temple, by carrying sand into the temple, the act is enjoyable and also causes unity.
