Aom Visits Captain at the Temple

Over the years of starring in many lakorns together, Aom and Captain have become really good friends. When Captain got ordained on Dec. 25th, Aom didn't get a chance to attend because she was in Sri Lanka. Now that they have returned, Aom and Art stopped by the temple to visit Captain. It's so nice to see Aom and Art go and show their support to Captain. On a side note, Captain still looks good with his head shaved. He will be ordained for a month.

Pong in Beijing

It seems that the unconfirmed news we posted earlier of Pong going to Beijing is true because Pong has just arrived in Beijing. Pong might have underestimated how cold Beijing is because we hear he is planning to get some extra warm clothes for the trip. Although this is a personal trip, a small fan meeting has been arranged for Dec. 31st at fans request.

Unconfirmed: Pong to Go to Beijing at the End of Dec.

There is some news at Pong's Chinese forum that Pong will go to Beijing at the end of Dec. (29th or 30th). A fan asked if the news was true at Pong's Facebook fan page, but so far there is no reply from the administrator. Although his fans at his Chinese forum are preparing for his arrival, this news has not yet been confirmed at Pong's fan page or his twitter. Of course, we will let you know if we hear anything else about it.

Pla is very angry and pushes him but she is the one who falls. Tee sure does like to tease Pla and it seems that Pong and Paula have lots of fun on set. Expect to see this scene on today's episode of Song Pradtana.

Thai & Chinese Agreement to Promote Thai Dramas in China

Love this news article. Thailand's Prime Minister Abhisit and China's Premier Wen Jaibao signed an agreement to promote Thai dramas in Thailand. Definitely, good news for both Thai and Chinese relations. What we also love from the article is that the images used for the article were from Pong's Song Kram Nang Fah and Aom's Luerd Kattiya. Of course, this is not random because both of these lakorns were hits in China when they aired. (Credit to PongNawatFC@twitter for the news & clip)

In this Exact web article titled "Reality Slap, Real Pain," Pong and Paula talk about a scene where Tee-yot is concerned that Pla will get killed like Nueng so he throws her into the ocean to scare her and make her angry enough to go back to Bangkok. This makes Pla so angry that she slaps Tee's face. Although it's acting, the pain is very real. Pong says that Paula is tough and her slaps are very painful. Poor Pong, always getting slapped by his nang eks. Expect to see this scene on today's episode of Song Pradtana.

Aom's Malai Sarm Chai on Popularity List/Poll

It's always nice to see our favorite actress get recognition from the lakorns she's been in. Aom's recent lakorn Malai Sarm Chai made it on two of Thailand's popularity list and poll. At movie.sanook.com, Malai Sarm Chai was #2 on their "Top Ten Drama Hits of 2010" list. Then in a poll conducted by the ABAC Research Center at Assumption University, Malai Sarm Chai was voted 4th most popular lakorn in 2010. So happy for Aom and Malai Sarm Chai. Read more about the poll here. (special thanks to Lucy for providing us the links)

Photos and Video Clips from Exact Scenario Together 2011

Every year at the Exact Scenario Together event, Exact gathers their stars together and showcases their upcoming lakorns, variety shows, and musicals. Here are some photos from the event and thanks to some fan cams, we are able to see some clips from the event and some teasers for Pong's upcoming lakorns. Aom, as some of you may know, said earlier this year that she wanted to take a break from lakorns to have a baby so there aren't any upcoming lakorns of hers to showcase at this year's event. We do keep our fingers crossed that she will be in another lakorn soon because we miss her already.

Pong's "Song Kram Nang Fah" Highlighted in The Wall Street Journal Article

credit: posted at The Wall Street Journal Article via Exact
The Wall Street Journal recently published an article tittled, "Hungry for Drama, Chinese Viewers Send Out for Thai." The article talks about the growing popularity of Thai lakorns in China and why it appeals to Chinese audiences. Pong's lakorn Song Kram Nang Fah / Battle of the Angels is highlighted in the article because of it's popularity when it first aired two years ago and it's a good example of what Chinese audiences love about Thai lakorns. Other lakorns briefly mentioned in the article were Bie the Star's Roy Adeed Hang Ruk / Scar in My Heart and Aom's lakorn Luerd Kattiya / The Princess.
