The Wall Street Journal recently published an article tittled, "Hungry for Drama, Chinese Viewers Send Out for Thai." The article talks about the growing popularity of Thai lakorns in China and why it appeals to Chinese audiences. Pong's lakorn Song Kram Nang Fah / Battle of the Angels is highlighted in the article because of it's popularity when it first aired two years ago and it's a good example of what Chinese audiences love about Thai lakorns. Other lakorns briefly mentioned in the article were Bie the Star's Roy Adeed Hang Ruk / Scar in My Heart and Aom's lakorn Luerd Kattiya / The Princess.
