Pong & Mario at Asian Idol 2012 in Beijing
Pong and Mario Muarer along with many other Asian stars attended the Asian Idol Awards in Beijing. Pong won Asia's Most Popular Artist and Mario won Asia's Most Popular Foreign Artist.

Congratulations to our Pong. He just won the Most Popular Foreign Actor Award at the 2011 TV Drama Awards in Beijing China. Also, Exact must be proud because Bie Sukrit's lakorn Dok Ruk Rim Tang won for Best Foreign Drama Award this year.

Videos & Photos: Shanghai Fan Meeting
The fan meeting was held at a cinema which holds 500 hundred people. There were 400 hundred fans and 100 staff members and Chinese media. The fan meeting was organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand Shanghai Office. It looks like Pong's popularity has become influential in getting some Chinese tourists to go visit Thailand.

Pong Off to China Again
This news has been out for a while now, but we forgot to post it here. A fan posted news at Pong's Facebook fan page that Pong will be off to Shanghai on August 26th and Beijing on August 29th. We don't know the details of the trip, but we'll post updates about this as soon as we get them.

Video: Pong & Aom's Lakorns Make Top 3 Lakorns in China
Love this video clip. It's created by the Thai Consulate in China about the popularity of Thai dramas there. As you can see from the clip, a lot of Pong and Aom's lakorns have been shown in China. But what we especially love is that the top 3 lakorns (by audience ratings) are lakorns of Pong and Aom.

One of Pong's Interviews in Shanghai

记得第一次来中国,完全没有想过粉丝这么热情.他们追着车跑,给我送礼物....我听说还有人飞到泰国去和我的粉丝联宜联盟~~

当然生活里我不是这样。我有点害羞，但也喜欢交朋友，会和朋友去酒吧，但酒量一般。我还喜欢养狗，死了一只，现在家里的一只已经养了7年了。

我就是为了寻找这样的合作机会，才来上海电视节的呀，好象<人的价值>已经在中国播放了，还是那种爱情片，但和我以往的角色不一样，我变得感情专一了，变得温柔了，不再是以往的花花公子了。

在北京，我喜欢去后海。一次是冬天去的，在上面滑冰，你知道， 在泰国，根本不可能有机会滑冰的。还有一次是夏天，我们在湖上划船。。。上海我是第二次来了，我上次去了泰康路的田子坊，我喜欢那里的建筑。我记得有一家店的咖啡味道很好。上海的小笼包味道很好,北京的烤鸭太油腻了。
A：
I like going to Houhai (Heihei, it is famous with its pub….) in Beijing. Once I go there in winter and we go skating on the ice. As you know, it is impossible to skating in Thailand. Another time it is summer and we boat on the lake… This is my second time to Shanghai. Last time I went to Tianzifang on Thaikang Road. I like building there. I remember there is a shop with good coffee. Xiaolongbao (Xiaolongbao is a type of steamed bun or baozi from eastern China, especially Shanghai and Wuxi. It is traditionally steamed in small bamboo baskets, hence the name (xiaolong is literally small steaming basket). Xiaolongbao are often referred to as soup dumplings or simply dumplings in English, but are not regarded as "dumplings" in China.) tastes really yummy, Peking duck is too greasy.

Update: Pong in China
Pong has left Shanghai and is now back in Bangkok. Here's a photo of him saying goodbye at Shanghai airport. I'm sure his Chinese fans were sad to see him leave.

Pong is currently in China right now. He arrived in Beijing on the 19th and will be in Shanghai on the 22nd. The purpose of this trip is for a magazine shoot for Honeymoon Travel Magazine (we think). Of course his Chinese fans are happy to see him and Pong even brought toy dolls to give as gifts to some fans. (Thanks Mandy for sharing the details to this trip).

Pong in Beijing
It seems that the unconfirmed news we posted earlier of Pong going to Beijing is true because Pong has just arrived in Beijing. Pong might have underestimated how cold Beijing is because we hear he is planning to get some extra warm clothes for the trip. Although this is a personal trip, a small fan meeting has been arranged for Dec. 31st at fans request.

Unconfirmed: Pong to Go to Beijing at the End of Dec.
There is some news at Pong's Chinese forum that Pong will go to Beijing at the end of Dec. (29th or 30th). A fan asked if the news was true at Pong's Facebook fan page, but so far there is no reply from the administrator. Although his fans at his Chinese forum are preparing for his arrival, this news has not yet been confirmed at Pong's fan page or his twitter. Of course, we will let you know if we hear anything else about it.

Ever since we saw the photo of Pong kissing Bee from his recent trip to Shenzhen China, we have been curious as to the details behind the photo. This fancam clip has been uploaded on youtube from the interview. From the segment, it looks like Pong and Bee were asked to act out a kiss scene.

We have received confirmation from Chinese fans that Pong has arrived in Shenzhen . Soon he, Bee, and Pang will attend a press conference. These are the first photos we are able to find. These photos were taken at Shenzhen airport. Pong is not in any of these photos because as mentioned in an earlier blog post, he had an emergency and was unable to take the scheduled flight along with Bee and Pang at the last minute.
