Update: Kha Khong Khon's Air Date

Finally, we might have an air date for Kha Khong Khon. We say maybe because as some of you may know, these dates have been known to change unexpectedly. From Channel 7's news, it looks like that this lakorn is set to air February 13th. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope there will be no more changes.

Malai Sarm Chai Wins Top Award

Although Aom and Captain did not win Best Actress or Best Actor, Malai Sarm Chai still did well at Top Awards. It won Best Lakorn and Pui Paouen, the director, won Best Director. Congratulations to Malai Sarm Chai for capturing the hearts of it's viewers because Top Awards are decided by viewers who vote on TV Pool Magazine.

Since some of you have personally contacted me about Kha Khong Khon's air date, I thought I would give you an update. Pong had tweeted a while back that it might start in February, but still no exact date. I know a lot of you are excited to see it and we are too. Synopsis for Nai Roy Ruk

Wow,  so much drama in this lakorn. Here's the synopsis of Nai Roy Ruk's storyline staring Pong and Aum Patchrapa. For those who are not familiar with Thai vocabulary, "nang' ek" is the Thai word for the heroine or leading actress of a lakorn/drama and "pra' ek" is the hero or leading actor. Nang'ek's mother is in love with her boyfriend but nang'ek's father raped her mother because he loves her mother so much. Nang'eks mother is vengeful because she didn't love him, so she told nang'ek's father to wait a year for her and she'll go back to marry him since she already lost herself to him. Nang'ek's father waited for a year which nang'ek's mother already give birth to Maanmuslin.


After giving birth to Maanmuslin, the mother wanted to take revenge. She didn't want the father to know they had a child, so the mother give Maanmuslin to her boyfriend to raise and told him not to tell anyone. The mother's boyfriend promised even though he's married to another girl which became step-mother to Maanmuslin and he didn't tell her. It made the step-mother misunderstood, it's from his ex-girlfriend and him. Maanmuslin didn't know that these two people are not her real parents and was hated by the step-mother. The step-mother didn't raised Maanmuslin that well but Maanmuslin never stopped loving her. She loves and take care of the mother who raised her since she was born. Sometimes, she suspect why her mother never give her the love like a mother does. 

Her real mother did married her father as promised and they give birth to another daughter. Her real family is really rich. The mother never have good feeling for him and hated him for raping her.

Nang'ek is a person who fight for survival. Work in the entertainment industry. Modeling and act in lakorn. The author of this book based it off of Aum's character. She's a straightforward person. On the outside, she looks harsh but inside she's sensitive. Some of the events she have to wear revealing clothes but just thought of it as her job to make money to pay off the debt her step-mother made and taking care of her grandmother, name Maanmook. This grandmother is not her real grandmother too. Maanmuslin doesn't know either. Grandmother Maanmook has a tie to pra'ek's grandfather.... she's his second wife. However, pra'ek's grandfather kick grandma Maanmook out of the house thinking she commited adultery. Pra'ek's grandfather is really rich, he's a "jao sua". She was pregnant with nang'ek's step-mother but the grandfather didn't know.

Pra'ek's name is Kanon or his nickname Blow. He's handsome, gentle and thoughtful. He has a nephew around his age name Kungthep, who is a friend of Maanmuslin when he studied in America. He liked Maanmuslin but she only thought of him as a friend. It made Kungthep's ex-girlfriend angry and hated Maanmuslin because she thought Maanmuslin is the reason he broke up with her. Which this problem went to tied with Mister Kim. She's also the reason why a lot of things happen to Muslin's friend and Mister Kim and herself.

Kanon only heard of her name and her bad reputation for dressing revealing and stealing friend's boyfriend. He changed his mind when he met her though Kungthep's introduction. Muslin is a straightforward person. She does everything if it doesn't trouble anyone. She doesn't care of others gossiping because all she thinks is she's working. She loves her friend and can fight for them. He falls in love with her unconsciously even though he was studying her real sister. So far we are on episode 11 and two episodes will be uploaded every night. The quality of the videos are not as good as we'd like it to be, but it is decent. Although we weren't sure if Pong would be acting in Nai Roy Ruk with Aum Patcharapa, this article definitely confirms that Pong will be doing this lakorn. As you all know, Pong's contract is with Exact, but Nai Roy Ruk will be produced by Dara VDO, so they would have to get permission from Exact to have Pong in their lakorn. In a recent article in OHO Magazine, it says that when Channel 7 contacted Exact to request Pong to star in the Nai Roy Ruk with Aum, Khun Boy agreed to it immediately. (Source: PongNawatFC@twitter)

A while back we shared some unconfirmed news that Pong and Aum Patcharapa will pair up to star in Nai Roy Ruk. Although we have not read or heard of confirmation on this rumor, it looks like it might be true because Pong and Aum  are in an article from Dara Daily that they are a new and hot couple in 2011 from Nai Roy Ruk. Also, in this thread here, the person who made the post talks about Nai Roy Ruk as one of the upcoming projects for channel 7 with Pong and Aum.

Spoiler: Final Scene of Song Pradtana

Here's latest web article from Exact about the final scene of Song Pradtana. Tee comes to New York and pretends to give Pla a wedding invitation. Pla is very sad because she thought that the wedding is for Tee and Nueng. Tee says that it's actually his marriage with Pla. He then kneels down and asks her to marry him. Pla is very happy, she accepts, and hugs him. Follow this final scene in the series finale of Song Pradtana.

It looks like Kha Khong Khon's air date has been moved again. A fan asked Pong at his twitter when the lakorn would air since it is supposed to air this month. Pong tweeted a response saying that he thinks it might air in February. That's really too bad because we were really looking forward to seeing the lakorn this month. Nuan helps care for Nichada, but Nichida kills Nuan because she wants to impersonate Nuan and return to take revenge on Nueng.

Wednesday January 12th
Nueng has no idea that Nichada is a guest. Nichada waits for a chance to get Nueng alone. Nueng is in shock to know that Nichada is alive.

Thrusday January 13th (Series Finale)

Poll: Pla or Nueng

A few of my friends and a reader here have mentioned that to make Song Pradtana's ending more interesting, they would like to see Pong's character, Tee end up with Nueng since Tee and Nueng are still married. That ending would definitely surprise the viewers since most of us think that Tee and Pla will end up together. I'm actually behind on this lakorn, so I haven't really thought about the ending and who will end up with whom, but it got me thinking about how many other viewers feel this way. So what do you all think? Do you want to see Tee end up with Pla or Nueng? Do you want to see a predictable ending or an ending that we weren't expecting? Here's the latest web article from Exact. In this scene, Tee tells Pla that he loves her and she loves him as well, but she decides to say goodbye so that Tee can be a good husband to Nueng. As Paula is acting out this sad scene, her husband Edward sneaks up from behind and surprises her. What a sweet couple. Expect to see this scene on Thursday's episode of Song Pradtana.

Buang Ruk Gammathep Wins Award in China

So happy for Pong and everyone involved with Buang Ruk Gammathep. This Pong and Bee lakorn won Best Introduction of an Overseas Drama at the 2010 National Drama Festival in China. As some of you may know, Pong's first promotional trip to China was in late August of 2010 to promote Buang Ruk Gammathep as it was airing in China at the time.
